SKETCHES
¨The best way to study architecture is with the presence of the buildings, because it is not the same, ever, to see a monument in a book- even if it has the most beautiful color edition, even if it has the biggest and sharpest photography- because it will never replace feeling the place that was photographed. Now, if the person wants to learn architecture, what he has to do is take a pencil and draw..."
German Samper
As a strong believer that drawing is the best way to learn and to express ideas, since I began studying Architecture I have done a series of sketches.
Some of them where made to understand existing projects; others are conceptual drawings of theorical or constructed buildings.
Nevertheless, both cases have a point in common: Drawing as a research tool for subsequent designs.
